Registering for Make the Link Climate exChange couldnt be easier - all you need to do is download the form below and send it back to us.  You can then start exploring climate change in the classroom, get exchanging online and start taking action to combat climate change!

What you can expect from us

Running the activities in the classroom

  • If you're ready to start climate change campaigning let us know and you will have access to free grants.

Interacting on the website

  • Free training to get you set-up on the website and exploring online activities.

  • Teachers only section of the website, to facilitate discussions and learning.

  • Monitor web sign ups and uploaded content to ensure appropriate web use, adhering to our Child Protection policy.   • Support student sign ups on the website using access codes you generate.

  • Monitor and update information on the website to ensure it is remains topical.

  • Plan UK and the Citizenship Foundation are working in partnership to deliver the Make the Link - Climate exChange project and we are here to support you in implementing this free project in your school.

  • Make the Link – Climate exChange newsletter with information on up-coming events and activities.

What we expect from you

As educators you will be running, with our support, the project within your school.

 

Running the activities in the classroom

  • Make use of the free learning resources.

Interacting on the website

  • Support your students to set up their own profile on the website .

  • Encourage students to communicate regularly on the interactive web platform with schools in the UK and abroad.

  • Share your climate change project's good practice with others.

  • Ensure appropriate content is shared on the website by your school's representatives. Please refer to the Development Education Guidelines for more details.

  • Make clear to both teachers and students the process for reporting abuse on the website via the 'Report Abuse' button, visible on every web page. A message will be sent to the website team who will address the matter with the Child Protection focal person.

General Communication
