What do you do in a residential?

Young people team building

During the residential students will take part in a series of workshops to develop the skills they will need to run their campaign. Students will increase their knowledge and understanding of what makes for a successful campaign and develop skills in communication, media, team work, and planning.

Workshops will also explore the political system at EU, national and local level, as
well as learning lobbying techniques such as debating and writing documents.

There will also be opportunities to take part in fun interactive team building activities!

Teachers will also gain advice on how to support their students throughout the duration of their campaign and how to engage the community, local councils and the media.

How long will it last?

The residential will take place during a weekend, from Friday afternoon until Sunday afternoon.
